Is this a federal or state felony drug charge? Are there suppression issues that require motions to be filed? Do you want to go to trial?

If you want your jury trial and suppression motions, then the flat rate is grossly insufficient.

If you want to simply plead out and take your sentence from the Court, then it’s okay if the lawyer is highly competent and respected.

Yes, if the flat rate covers the option to go to trial.
