Does Oregon extradite on felony drug charges?

girlscout asked:

I have 3 felonies. One for manufacturing marijuana, and two for possession of controlled substance. I am on probation, but currently obscounding. If I didn’t commit a new crime in another state, but needed to show identity to an officer, would I be arrested and transported back to Oregon?

yes, they extradite on most felony charges, and even misdemeanors if you are not “too far” away.
The futher away you are, the less likely they are to pay to extradite you.

Each warrant has different extradition guidelines.
It really depends on how pissed the PO was that had it written up, or how pissed the judge is about it.

I’m in CA. My partner ran out a guy from Oregon once. The dispatcher came back saying he was a Wanted Felon, Armed and Dangerous out of Oregon……no extradition from CA was a stipulation.

“Goodnight sir, see ya around, you’d be smart to stay in CA.”

Some states around us, list CA in particular as not being a state they’ll pick people up from. Its their lazy, cheap ass, sick way of dumping scumbags on us.
