The officer was on a bicyle so he pulled up to the drivers window and told us to pull over to the right. My friend who was driving had a bowl in the cupholder, so he tried to grab it and throw it in his pocket before the officer noticed. The officer saw him put something in his jean pockets and asked him once we were pulled over what he put in his pocket. He immidately said abowl which was retarded. The officer ordered him to step out of the vehilcle immiadtely after this was said. When searching the vehicle, which was legal because he told he had a bowl, they found about 2 and a half grams of cocaine in my backpack that was in the trunk. They asked whos backpack it was and we said it was one of our friends not in our car who we were campin with. Everntually i fessed up because he was going to charge my friend. When i got to the station i denied it being mine. What kind of punishment am i looking at? Im a college student with a B+ gpa and this is the last thing i need on my record

possession of drugs

My friend has a brother who has been in trouble with the law….. He has been in prison for felony charges in florida on 4 seperate occasions since 1980…
He was charged in april with possession of cocaine, marijuana, heroin, narcotic equipment, smuggling contraband into an institution ( cocaine), possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon, cocaine possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell,
he was let out on bond and had to go to work and come home by 8PM….
He was then charged again in june with possession of marijuana , cocaine, heroin …. thewy let him out on bail again… he didnt go to court, his bail was revoked, he was basically on the run…
he ended up turning himself in and was charged with
2 charges of failure to appear for a felony case, failure to appear for a weaons charge of possession b convicted felon, probation violation, and violation of supervise own recongnizince
ok sorry this is so long….
my question is, what kind of time is he looking at and will they allow him out on bail again,
btw… i dont want him to get out either….. he is very mean and vengeful!

crystal meth

he wasn’t selling it just had it in his possession, the grand jury indicted him for it, I can hardly believe that but know its true because I read it for myself and it is the only charge against him..The county I live in the new judge has been sending everyone to jail for this penny ante stuff. There has been alot of complaining going on about this judge because the jails are overcrowded already.Not that I am a advocate of illegal drugs (I’m not) but seems like they would be going after the big dogs instead of this kind of stuff. Can they really have a case against him for such a small amount?
The charge definitely is less than 1/10th of a gram and dont be so judgmental there is more to the story and my son swears he has never done cocaine in his life. He voluntarily let the police search his house and they were there for over 2 hours searching and this all started because he went to the local hardware to buy a can of coleman fuel for a heater that he has because it was cold out and he was working on his car. The lady at the hardware store apparently thought he might be using it to make meth with, soshe called the police. Whatever, my son swears that this cop is just saying that cause he KNOWS there was no cocaine in his house and when they came back they told him he had 2 choices. they would take it to the grand jury or he could wear a wire for them. He told them to take it to the grand jury. Geez, the question was for an attorney anyway. Are you ALL attorneys? Lighten up.
tony S. I guess you can’t read very well. My son WAS busted for it but claims it is impossible for them to have found it in his house because he dosen’t do cocaine. He thinks that they were there looking for meth because of the hardware store incident and they couldnt find anything so they cooked up this charge against him. That is my whole point,,,, If I thought my son was guilty I would not be sticking up for him, I would be kicking his butt and telling him he got what he deserved as I have always done when he did something wrong. I should mention here that my son has NEVER been in ANY kind of trouble and is a nice kid with alot of friends.
I only stated at the beginning that he was busted for it and he only had it in his possesion to make the story simple. I can see now that I should have explained the whole story. Sorry. He swears there was no cocaine anywhere near him because he has never used it. I believe him not because he is my son but because I know him and know he is truthful. I also know he is scared and I just dont want to see him go to jail for something he didnt do.

drug possession

two counts of attempted murder, possession of COCAINE and MARIJUANA. CARRYING CONCEALED WEAPON, Speeding, No insurance, driving without, AWDW INTENT TO KILL, and a couple other minor ones. The possession was less thank 1/2 oz.

So after you know all that, Honestly how much time do you think he will get? Obviously the littler ones will be dropped. But I was wondering how long am I going to be sending money to his A $$ ??

WOW…. I am very surprised of the resposes, I asked how long do you think he will go for, I didnt expect the responses I recieved, I should have though.

I would explain the reasoning but I can see that would be useless to the people here.

I just thought maybe there was someone in here who knew of someone or something that can allow me to see what the future may hold for him.

And btw,you said people like him dont belong on the streets… How do you know? If you were in his situation you would probably have done the same thing. Life isnt always as easy as people think… people whomhave a safe haven, a home, people like most who are free, away from the horrible things in life. You only know what you have seen.

Yes tax payers of NC will be paying for his living while he is in there, they will also be paying for him to get a education, and give him a little stability he needs, and one day he will be out working amongst your children. So I hope the tax payers pay their taxes.

i am a 2 time felon over 10yrs ago dist. of marijuana and possession of cocaine (seperate offences)can my record be pardoned? the application says list conviction not convictions.please any help would be greatly appreciated.
