Can Lidoderm patches or naproxen cause a positve cocaine drug test?
I took a drug test at my doctor's on jan 3rd. He told me today that it was positive for cocaine which I have never done in my life. The only meds that I took at that time is Naproxen Sodium tablets 220 mg, Absorbine Jr. roll on liquid and a Lidoderm lidocaine 5 % patch. I had my doctor have it retested because I know I am not wrong But why could this happen? Did the lab mix up my test with someone Else's? Is that possible?The doctor said the patch wasn't strong enough to cause a reaction.

My sister has been doing crack cocaine for 6 months. She agreed to go to doctor, what will happen next?
Hi there this may be a little long but I need some information about treatment for crack cocaine. My sister is 27 and 7 years ago she was on crack cocaine and I helped her through that hard time in her life by helping her get and stay clean. She stayed clean for 7 years. Now she is living with her boyfriend, they fight quite a bit, she doesnt work, hes paying their rent and food and addictions with the money he makes at work and credit cards. They dont have internet or cable, which leaves them pretty bored most of the time. So I guess through all the boredom they drink quite a bit and they both smoke crack for the last 6 months. She told me they stopped months ago after a mutual friend of ours passed away from it. So last night she called me upset asking if she can move in with me her and her bf must have been fighting . I own a cleaning company and just broke up with my ex fianc myself so I really cant afford to have her move in with me but I told her my door is always open. So in the background her bf kept yelling that she spends all his money on her addiction to crack and I asked her if shes still doing it she said once or twice. My parents havent really been supportive of getting her help but I have been doing my best with convincing her she needs it. We were both raised in a really good family, parents are still together, we had everything we wanted growing up but depression and alcoholism runs in the family and even a suicide, which she has thought about. So last night I called my mom and told her what my sister said about wanting to move in with me and I told her that both her and my dad need to help with all of this otherwise she might die. So then today I got a call from my sister saying my dad called her and said he will go to our family doctor with her and support her through rehab etc. I know all my sister needed was to have my parents care and support her through this hard time. So tomorrow she is making an appointment with our family doctor and she said she would even be willing to go to rehab to get clean. So I guess my question is is it likely that the doctor will send her for rehab? She told me shes been doing it for the past 6 months. My sister said my dad said the doctor might prescribe her something to help stop the cravings but I dont think that will be enough. I think she should and needs to go to a rehab facility and stay there, not just do day treatment or anything. I would really appreciate any advice or knowledge or experiences that people have or know about this addiction to crack cocaine. Thanks so much in advance, this is a really hard thing to go through.

How much cocaine use would cause a perforated septum?
I've never considered myself an " addict" per say but for the past few weeks my inner nose has been hurting very much and consistently bleeding which has NEVER happened before . I'm worried that I have a hole in my septum now but I'm confused because I don't do blow that that often. Granted I started using when I was 14 and now I'm in college but as I said I don't think I use often enough to have a hole in my nose How often do you have to do it to get a perforated septum or is my never ending nose bleed most likely some other underlying condition?

How do I fix my cocaine problem?
I have been dealing with drug abuse for over four years. I am terribly addicted to cocaine, and no matter what I try to do to stop, nothing works. I've gone to rehab several times, and every time I thought I was a completely changed person I did something stupid again.I don't know what to do. I have really bad depression and anxiety and I think that the drugs just make it worse. I'm basically at a dead end. Where do I go from here?None of my friends that I know about do cocaine.
