Drug Possession: Tonne Of Cocaine siezed from a Sailboat in BC



Two men found with more than 1000 kilograms of cocaine on a sailboat in Port Hardy, BC,, have been charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking. The men were arrested on March 6 after RCMP discovered a massive stash of cocaine on their 50-foot boat, the Huntress, sailing to Vancouver Island out of Panama. The boat, along with a 15-foot inflatable dinghy and several pieces of expensive electronics, was also seized during the arrest.

    How the fuck do you even get 100,000 a kilo. First of all a kilo has 1000 grams in it, Even if they were selling that shit by gram they would need to charge 100 a gram to make $100,000 off the kilo. Coke costs about 40 a gram if you dont have a hook up. But these guys had that shit in bails, they were selling it by kilo. It would be $20,000 at the most but probably more along the lines of $15,000. I am shocked by law enforcements total inablity to estimate the prices of drugs -_-
