This an interview that was conducted live on November 01, 2009 in Los Angeles, California on the Frank Pastore Radio Show – KKLA 99.5 FM. Frank Pastore is a former professional baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds from 1979 until 1985, and for the Minnesota Twins in 1986. On June 4, 1984, in Dodger Stadium, all of that changed when Frank was struck in the elbow by a line drive ending his professional baseball career. He became a Christian in late 1984 and eventually went on to earn a Masters Degree in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics in December 1994 and directed the Talbot Institute for Biblical Studies, a church-based training ministry to help churches establish their own lay institutes for Christian education. On January 5, 2004 Pastore became the host of The Frank Pastore Show on KKLA 99.5 FM in Los Angeles. It is the largest Christian talk show in the United States. Though at times Angelo thought he achieved success, internally he always felt an emptiness in his heart, sensing his life neither had real meaning nor true purpose.
