“Saturday Night Fever” – 25 Year Anniversary Party – 9/24/2002 Marty Angelo was a special guest of Saturday Night Fever actress Karen Lynn Gorney at the 25 Year Anniversary Party at Paramount Studios in Hollywood California on September 24 2002. Angelo is credited with being the first to introduce the SNF soundtrack after receiving a video clip and soundtrack of the movie from producer Robert Stigwood. Angelo featured the clip and music on his tv show, Disco Step-by-Step prior to the release of the movie. He later dedicated a full hour of the movie and soundtrack on one of his shows after the movie was released. Angelo also did this for the movie, “Thank God It’s Friday” featuring Donna Summer. Though at times Angelo thought he achieved success, internally he always felt an emptiness in his heart, sensing his life neither had real meaning nor true purpose. Nothing ever seemed to matter to him. Consequently, he lived a rebellious, sin-riddled out-of-control lifestyle. Angelo was arrested in 1980 for two counts of possession of cocaine.
