How Do You Deal With Really Bad Cramps at School?

Question by Ben’s Mango ^.^: How do you deal with really bad cramps at school?
Like, yesterday I had really, really bad cramps. I felt like I was about to pass out, my vision was all blurry, and I could barely hear. =/ It took a hot bath and a lot of praying to make it go away…

What if that happens at school next time though? What should I do? Obviously, I can’t get pain reliver from the nurse… so would anything else help?

Take some with you. Advil helps the best.

If the cramping is bad, just ask to go home.

Bring some painkillers with you. When I was in school I had ibuprofen and Tylenol on me at all times, in case I got cramps, which I often did. If it gets so bad you feel like you’re going to pass out again, go home sick. That happened to me once, I don’t know how I would’ve got through the rest of the day at school :/

I’ve also found that a little nap really helps with cramps. I felt awful in class one time, so, as dumb as it may sound, I just lay my head down on the desk and went to sleep for a few minutes, and I woke up feeling a lot better. If your teacher bugs you about it, tell them you’re not feeling too well, they should understand 🙂 And you can always go to the nurse’s office or something, she should have a couch or a cot you can lie down on for a while.
