Prosecutors have charged Maria Reyes with 1st degree felony murder in the murder of Gonzalo Gomez. Gomez was shot to death on the porch of his home in the 900 block of West 30th Street South? earlier this week.
Police have arrested three other people, all juveniles, in connection with the crime. They are still searching for a fifth suspect, 21-year-old Anthony Llamas.
Reyes has also been charged with possession of cocaine and contributing to a child’s misconduct. She’ll be in court on June 1st.
