Ok so at my high school there was a little incident. I was called down because “a mother called concerned that i was dealing drugs to her middle school child on school property” but this is 100% false. I am not a dealer and i dont go around asking people if they want to buy weed from me, but I have given about 2 people a gram each in exchange for money my entire life. My principle and assistant principle continued to throw me out questions like “are u a daily smoker? who do you smoke with? have you sold on school property? who are the dealers in the school?” So i kept each question simple/honest and said “no i am not a daily smoker but i smoke on occasion if i am ever stressed or if i cant go to sleep, but i do smoke with my friends on weekends to have a good time. I have never sold on school property but i have sold twice a gram to 2 kids my entire life because they were in desperate need and i had enough to give them. Also the reason why i sold was because i just wanted to make back a little bit of money for the amount i bought it for so i am not looking to make a profit out of this. im not going to tell u who the kids i smoke with are because you and they have nothing to do with this and for the drug dealers that are concerned, everyone has weed in the school so if you ask around, people will be able to sell to you.” After I answered the questions they said “We have to search your bag and phone”. And i’m like to myself “oh sh** i have weed in here”. I let them search my bag and there they find a jar of 5 gram bags. This is the second time i have ever brought to school and it was just a coincidence that i happen to bring weed, A LOT of it, the day i get called down. They have asked me who I got this from and what I was gonna use it for. I told them I got it from _____ ______ baggied up about 2 weeks ago and havent used it since and that this was all for my personal use after school, but not smoking it on school property, and maby a couple of friends also that would like to smoke as well. Now i am suspended for 5 days out of school, and i have a hearing with my superintendent next friday morning to see my actual punishment. They said the minimum suspension they have seen was 25 days out of school and some kids even were expelled. So after telling you my story, what do you think my punishment will be for having the possession of marijuana on school property? Does the school have the right to punish me or get involved if I go after the kid who told on me and possibly send him to the hospital if it is not on school property?
Im a good kid, but it looks to them that i am a liar because they said they have received other notifications about me selling drugs and i had 5 grams baggied up with an intent to sell. Please help me out here because I have been freaking out the past 2 days and i do not deserve this.
ok guys. im didnt mean to say im a good kid but im saying all this was a freak luck. stop putting me down and just help me out here rather than making me feel worse for what i did. i thought a kid who i have given weed to told there mom who got caught that i have given them the drugs therefor she called the school. i didnt wanna lie and say i have never given anyone weed and face further consequences for lying as well, but they said “out of everyone who we have talking to in this situation, u were the most honest and cooperative and we will try our best to not get this on your transcript and help you get a lesser suspension. but u have to get drug tested every month and go to drug counceling”
also as one of you said, this whole situation has gone school wide and everyone is now getting called down and being suspended. they have found the main source who have been dealing the drugs but they are continuing to find out everyone who is buying and selling weed in the school.

I think marijuana should be legal but not for minors.
Just ride out the consequences and take your lumps. You actually do deserve it. Saying you do not deserve it actually thinks you need the reminder of a harsh punishment. Mellow out and take your lumps, seriously.
You need to apologize to your parents first and ask them to help you get through this. It will end.

Well. I am a highschool student here in West Jordan, Utah. marijuana is one of the hugest problems down here. even in middleschool also people everyday get busted for weed. and its all usually the same. The first time they get a 7 day suspension, the next time its 45 day suspension, and next time its expulsion. On a usual, when they go to court they either get a warning, or community service. Rarely they will put you in rehab, Rehab is like a 1 in 70 chance on the first bust. You dont have much to worry about, you will not be going to jail but im sure of 2 things, its either, a warning, or community service.
Yes the school does have the right to punish you and you do deserve any punishment they hand out. You admit smoking and selling both of which are illegal acts. You also can be punished for going after the kid and assaulting him.
You’re a good kid who deals drugs and threatens to put children in hospital for ‘grassing you up’? You’re a selfish imbecile. You should have been kicked out for good.
you may be a good kid but you’ve got to quit talking so much. you pretty much admitted you dealt drugs. it doesn’t matter if it was 1 time or 10 times. you TOLD them you had exchanged a little bit of money for a little bit of weed=drug dealer. you had the weed on school property–doesn’t matter that you didn’t plan on smoking it at school. you still had it on school property. and i can guarantee you that nobody believe you only smoke “every now and then when your stressed”. you’ve admitted what you did–but if anyone accuses you of dealing–they are going to believe it. just don’t carry the crap around with you at school. trust me–someone is giving them info. interesting statistic–2 out of 3 people that get busted or questioned for drugs–turns someone else in–keep that in mind. i think you will prob get a suspension or expelled–depends on your school districts policies. also–if you go after the kid that turned you in, they are going to know who did it–regardless of if you are on school property or not
