How Do I Defend Myself in Court?
Question by Omar Bello: How do I defend myself in court?
I am 15.
I got charged with possession of THC.
Me & my 6 other friends came to school “high”.
The next day we got reported & we got caught.
They have no proof of anything, but i did tell the whole truth.
I have court soon. How do i defend my self in court?
Can they charge me for being high?
I was put under arrest. They did read me my Miranda rights.
Whats the worst that can happen?
Will this affect my future?
Someone please help me because i actually want to have a good future, i have dreams that need to be fulfilled.

Omar, I doubt anyone is going to want to ruin your life for being a stupid kid. If they offer you an attorney take it. If not, be honest and tell them how sorry you are and how you are never going to do anything like that ever again.
And then don’t. Time to wise up. Coming to school high is not going to take you anywhere good.

Your story is not real accurate is it?
You can not be charged with possession of THC if you do not have it in your possession-So you are either no telling the truth about having it, or you were not charged with it
Second-How could you get caught the next day? You would have had to have been high on day 2 as well because if you were high on Monday then you would not still be high on Tuesday-So again you are not telling the truth
Third-Your a juvenile so your parents have to go to court with you. You make it sound like you have to go alone.
Fourth, you were never given a drug test so how would they know you were high in the first place, if you were never tested and how would they know what drug you had in your system if you were not tested?
Your question does not make sense and it is mostly false
You are either a liar or you are leaving out a WHOLE bunch of stuff
You really won’t fulfill any dreams by becoming a druggie. Becoming the result of your dreams is achieved by hard work and a good education, not by using chemicals illegally.
