Question by mach2.25steve: What happens to the cocaine extracted from the coca leaves for the Coca-Cola Company?
Do they extract this cocaine at their factories or do they buy the cocaine free coca leaves from another country?

Coca-cola could be making a lot of extra money on the side?!?!lol Just curious thanks.

They (supposedly) haven’t used coke since 1904. Cocaine is still used in hospitals, mainly for local eye anethesia.

The US gov licences one company to process lab-quality cocaine.

Coca cola does not contain cocaine or any product of coca leaves.

    Coca-cola does not any longer add that into the soft drink. Would you think the government would allow it. It is a illegal drug. That was an issue when cocaine was used as a medicine and soft drinks like coca cola was served at Pharmacies.
