My cousin is an SRT operator for ICE and during a raid he had approximately 4 ounces of powder cocaine thrown in his face while he was in the process of inhaling. He’s ok, hospital blood test came back positive for cocaine and he’s off work with pay till he gets cleared and the drugs are out of his system
If not, what could the charge possible be? Assault? Anything at all other than the drug charges?

Aggravated assault, since the cocaine would be an object. For attempted murder there would have to be proven that the intention was for him to die from that, which I don’t really see happening.
Might be a good idea to wear some protective gear that shields the face from things.
Assault and resisting arrest, but not attempted murder.
