False. It’s not an opiate. Rather, it comes from the Coca plant. ^_^

No, cocaine is a derivative of the coca plant. And there is no such thing as an opium plant. The drug opium comes from a certain species of the Poppy.
Heroin and morphine come from opium poppies. Cocaine comes from the coca plant.
