Powdered cocaine is generally snorted. People cook it with baking soda to make crack which can be smoked. Crack produced a faster and more intense high but the high lasts for a shorter time than snorting powdered cocaine. Crack is generally cheaper. Because the high is so intense and it lasts for such a short time it’s generally thought to be more addictive than regular cocaine.
