    @saiyru14 seriously thats fucking crazy

  • SirWinstoneChurchill:

California has more people in prison than any COUNTRY in the world…

  • Quintapus:

What about the men? Are they in private prisons too? Why focus only on the women? Tell us the whole story or don’t bother.

  • state911gthl:

this is the stupidest thing ive ever seen. that state is fucken stupid. wtf happends if u kill someone there they hang u upside down for 25 years

  • roscoegino:

I hear private companies make money from prisons like these and that’s the reason for the long sentences.

  • aurkomaitra:

in singapore where i live u get 20 years for purse snatching and over here it has the opposite effect coz theres less crime

  • aurkomaitra:

@StuartGilliganGriff really? shouldnt it be life for killing a hundred

  • angelchik54:

Don’t rapists get like 3 years?

  • ooMONKEYoo:

@sweettater99 Well see – most of those years where probably because he was a drug user, I’m sure. Putting drug users away is a waste of money and space. I think were in an agreement more or less here.

  • sweettater99:

@ooMONKEYoo I agree in some murder cases life is appropriate. I guess it depends on likelihood of repeat, motive, ect. Strongarm robbery is when you threaten to hit someone to rob them. There is no weapon (other than the body) involved. Still a crime, but 25 years is a looonngg time. Yes, the person used to be an addict. The individual is no longer on drugs and is unlikely to repeat the crime. That is what bothered me about the whole thing.

  • forgetititititit:

    You gotta LOVE America!

    Well, Oklahoma anyway. 🙁

  • ooMONKEYoo:

@sweettater99 I would hope murderers get life. Maybe I was confused about what strongarm robbery is. I thought it was mostly a gang ‘activity’. I have no patience for gangs. They would save a lot more money if they just let free all the people in jail for small drug charges and writing bad check type charges. Then they would have plenty of money to keep the people who belong in jail, in jail.

  • sweettater99:

@ooMONKEYoo Maybe Oklahoma should do better to use that money to fix their crumbling government. 25 years is excessive for that no matter how you cut it. That’s what murderers get, not someone who threatens fisticuffs.

  • ooMONKEYoo:

@octr As I said, you weren’t being helpful. Your justification didn’t make any sense. Get over yourself. Stop pinning on me that I’m being hostile because I told you your answer was bad. Would you rather I lie?

  • octr:

@ooMONKEYoo How did I justify people lining their pockets? I explained the theory behind the idea, while at the same time stating, quite clearly, that I do not agree with it. Once again I respectfully suggest that you reread my comments.. perhaps something can be gained after all!

  • DreadfulControversy:

Who built the justice system? So who’s going to benefit from it? Exactly.

  • DreadfulControversy:

@deanlowe She’s black, of course she gets years added.

  • MrFirefox224:

Well why didn’t you wake us up cenk? Obviously all of us republicans sit on our asses all day snoozin. You seem to imply it in almost every video.

  • carbonfiberfan:

@jonmel yeah from what I heard its actually alot better than american units I havent used it since grade school. But what I do hear alot of jobs are in France I dont know if this is right or not you know better than me.

  • TENNSUMITSUMA:

GOOD welcome to what most men have to deal with. and guess what no one cares they say ‘oh well if you weren’t guilty you wouldn’t be there’. if it was men i bet they wouldn’t be doing this story

ps different states have different laws, so it doesn’t have to be a misdemeanor, it can be a felony

  • Razlo5000:

The differences in criminal sentencing due to gender is more than the difference due to race.
    WHY!?
Sentencing should be the same. Stop trying to play to emotion to make it seem like convicted women are victims! Its deplorable!
