Drug Possession: Cleveland Woman Sentenced for Drug Possession and Conveying Drugs into a Jail



On Oct. 23, 2011 a Brunswick, Ohio Police Officer stopped Laura A. Kobak of Cleveland while she was operating a car. She was arrested for driving while under the influence. At the Brunswick Police Station she was booked into Brunswick’s City Jail. When she was searched drugs were found on her person. She was then charged with Drug Possession, Cocaine, and Conveying Illegal Substances into a detention facility. She entered a guilty plea to the drug possession charge and to an amended charge of Attempted Conveyance of Illegal Substances into a Detention Facility.
