makes sense, just sucks? for those recently jailed.

  • Roymadman3:

no they would not be freed, it goes along with the amendment that says you cant add on to a crime if its a new law. for example if a get drunk at a bar and then get arrested? for dui, and then they come out with a law that says beer is illegal it cant be added on to my jail time.

The debt? will never be gone.

  • EarthlingsNews:

Would be good for that, and it? would help!

  • getrippednubz:

I only think it should be? legalized so the gov can put a nice tax on and maybe start paying off all their damn debt

Yep it sucks once you break the law when the act was illegal you most likely have to serve it out. Just don’t live in TX and be poor. What’s not fair is if you are famous or rich, you can hire the best lawyers and nothing will happen to you but if? you are of color and poor forget it, they will throw you in jail in a second.

  • EarthlingsNews:

yeah, that is same idea i heard.? so could still be big mess. we’ll have to see what happens.

People in colorado and washington that are in jail? for marijuana are in federal jail. So they still have to do their term in jail, but if it was country wide, then yes they would have to be freed.

  • EarthlingsNews:

    thanks!?

  • reptilesinfo101:

    Loving the? new channle

  • EarthlingsNews:

I guess that makes sense. But it also sucks to be in jail for something that is now changed to be legal. ? Kind of a weird paradox and hard to decide I guess if they should be free’d or not. But I see exactly what you mean they broke the law when it was a law in effect, so they should serve the time for it.

We need Tom and Jerry on TV more! That was a great high show lol. Great? music and laughs! But back on topic. Completely agree with you. Alcohol is much worse as everyone knows. Marijuana should be legal or at least decriminalized nationally.

  • jtaylorinla:

The people that broke the law before it was change will still be in jail. When the chafed the law it is NOT retro back to the beginning of time. Law come into effect on the day it is signed into law. The could retro it back to a date and time? if they wanted to , but most times not , so sorry to say that the ones in jail before the law change will stay in jail….. They should have waited…

  • jtaylorinla:

    Sorry to burst your bubble…..?

  • 4thGloryMonday:

A waste of tax dollars focus on violent offenses and leave? us alone.

  • georgesjunglerc:

Although? I am totally opposed to Marijuana laws, if the law was broken, then the sentence will stay. I personally believe they should have never been put in jail in the first place…

Let me tell you i smoked and yes past tense i smoked for over 20 years and i never did anything bad i never did other drugs i never drank its harmless period!
