I’m 17 and my friend and i ranaway and we were found in a house. My friend was on the bed and I was hiding behind a chair. The cop came n the room and asked my friend her name. Next to my friend she had a bag wit 10 hydros n it. The cop asked if they were hers and she sed yes. Then the cop came back and found me. I didn’t have anything on me but a cellphone and when I went to the station they asked bout the pills and we told them we found them n an abandoned house which we did. Although she had them were both being charged with possession. Is this right? How should o ple my case? This is my first offense nver been n the system. I’m 17 female. Help me please I’m being serious I dnt want any life lessons pleas legal addvice only! Thank you

You need to get a lawyer now. You were “in possession” of those drugs just like your friend was. You told the police that “we found them…”, and you took possession of them.
I know that you don’t want any life lessons… but you are going to get one.
Get a lawyer immediately and maybe the lesson won’t be as hard as it potentially could be.

You hit the jackpot in that you are JUST the right age. Your record should be wiped clean when you reach 18.
