Finally someone with a fucking clue

  • S0k0s:

@seventhdayfreedom13 “socialist, Hitler types”? Newsflash, because you clearly have no clue what you’re talking about, you should know that Hitler hated communists and that the Soviet Union was anathema to Nazi ideology. Oh wait, “ROFLNATIONALSOCIALISM herp derp” is your response. Yeah you’re right, I suppose Hitler should have called his party “The Aryan Authoritarian World Domination and Anti-Semitic Party” to be more historically accurate. For fuck sakes man, you’re clueless.

During this whole ordeal, I’m simply fascinated by the amnesia/hypocrisy of the right wing. I get sick to my stomach watching Glenn beck and Faux News showing and condemning signs of Walker being compared to Mubarrak or Hitler. Yet, we saw something VERY similar to that during every tea party rally referring to the President. Hell, both Beck, Stossel, and Hannity covered the rallies for a week on their shows. Now suddenly, union supporters are demonized for letting their voices heard? HYPOCRITES

Further, few of us enjoy qualified immunity regarding what we do on the job or have due process rights regarding our jobs. That’s constitutional due process rights–not collective bargining rights.

In another case, a principal (an administrator, I admit) spanked an 8 yo student with a purse strap (to an extent his caregiver took him to the ER). A real problem was IL had abolished corporal punishment in public schools ten or so years before. She *was* fired. However, the states attorney chose to charge her with nothing. She may well be busting up kids in some Southern state as I speak.

More recently, a coach slapped a student at school. That’s aggravated battery (a felony) because it was on public property. It was also a felony called official misconduct. She *was* charged with ag bat. But the jury had a bad day (we’ll say) returned verdicts of guilty to both the felony and the misdemeanor. The judge should have vacated the misdemeanor conviction. But he used a goofy construction of the statute to vacate the felony instead, which allowed her to keep teaching.

Hell, in grade school a teacher slammed a kid’s hand in a desk in front of the whole class. Nothing happened.
