What Should the Title of My Story Be?
Question by Savannah: What should the title of my story be?
Okay…so i’m writing a story that is about a 15 year old girl who is a witch and there is this guy at school who she is attracted to and all…but he turns out to be possesed and the thing that possessed him wants her powers, because she is the most powerful witch, so he can make himself come back alive because he is dead…so he makes her attracted to him so she can “trust” him…
so yea…I want to know what I should name it because i’m not good at naming things…
also…I keep feeling like there is another story like this…so can you tell me if there IS another story like this…:D…

Find More Drug Possession Information…

Are there any lines or quotes from any of your characters that you are particularly proud of?
What are the themes and motifs in your story? You might be able to allude to something related to your theme in your title.
Wow, it sounds REALLY good. Just remember when you write to SHOW and not TELL, and make sure your grammar is correct.
Hm, title…
Well, usually small things in the story can be used as a title… Ugh, like “Twilight”…he only mentions the word in there about twice, but it’s still used as a title.
Is there any small thing that has a lot of significance in your story? I want to title it “The Last Black Rose” or something but from your summary there isn’t even a black rose involved.
Gosh, I don’t really know but if there is anything like that you can always e-mail me back, I’d be glad to help 🙂
I don’t think there is another story like it, but it seems a cliche but as it’s not .. good luck =)
Or, I kind of like “My Possession” but that’s just a random throw-out. Any quotes you like? Any special things with meaning in your story?
Ah ha! Brain spark! Maybe the guy can give the girl a black rose with something in it to possess her, to take her powers, like a drug or something. Then you can name it “The Black Rose” or something! And she starts feeling crazy after she gets it, so the rose has a significance throughout the whole story!!! Yay!! Lol.
There probably isn’t anything specificly alike, but it does have that twilight affect, ya know, two people, different worlds etc.
I would call it “condemned”
I thought immediately of titling it trading secrets, but i dont know why. I cant think of anything else like it.
Ooooooooooooooo can I read your book!? It sounds awesome and pulled me in by the dude being possessed! That really sounds interesting! If you let me read I might come up with something creative. But know now that the publisher (if you get published) is more than likely (about 75% chance) going to change the title anyways so don’t worry about it!!!!!

🙂 just write the whole thing and you’ll decide pretty easily. Most authors will write most of the story before naming it. They take a keyword from the story and use that as the title
the power of possession ?
