Illegal Drug Possession: Dubai OFWs acquitted of drug charges
Three Dubai OFWs have been acquitted of drug charges, Migrante-Middle East said. The group said they received the information from the father of one of the OFWs. The three OFWs are Crizelda Empleo, Jackielou Jabate and Rhodora Guisinga. All were arrested in November 2010 for drug possession.

Friday marked the 40th anniversary of the U.S. “war on drugs,” a policy of zero tolerance first declared by then-President Richard Nixon in 1971, but members of the MSU branch of Students for Sensible Drug Policy hope that this anniversary will be the country’s last.
