    The second sentence is fine.

Your first sentence seems awkward at the end as if you missed a word.

    2)Being

However, not everyone agrees to the fact that justice has been accomplished (by) the government (in its) attempts to finish up the drug issue.

(Please take note of the following:
1.”however” is used in contrast, so if you have a prior clause, try using a semi-colon after it rather than starting a sentence with “however”
    2. You have an ambigious subject. “Who tried to accompliish the justice?”)

Young people are (being) tossed into prison by possession of illegal drugs(,) and they are sentenced as if they are dangerous delinquents.

    (omitted from all ages)

    Hope this helps. Take care!
