Serious Please- Ok, if im used to getting a lot of sex and then i get cut off and then my addiction reared its head again would it make sense that maybe it’s not the addiction to cocaine but to the chemicals that are released during sex and the use of cocaine similarities? As in dopamine,endorphins and adrenaline.
I’m not justifying the illegal use of cocaine, just the body looking for the chemicals that was used to, like a withdraw or something.
Easier said then done, for sex. It’s not important till your not getting any.
I’m not looking for rehab. I’m asking if people know and understand the pleasure center in the brain. Maybe this is too deep.

Yeah, thats it exactly, when your body is starved of one addiction, it has to find another to replace that, in this case, sex. I recommend you go cold turkey from both until you are sure you have got a handle, and control, of both.

Hey Everyone,
I’ve been dating my boyfriend for just over a year (I’m 23, he’s 24) I knew before I met him he did cocaine once and awhile (Well, once a month is that he told me) then once he met me he stopped. Never touched the stuff for almost a year. Then last weekend we got into a fight and he did cocaine that night. We’ve made up and he says that he’s going to start using it more like he did before he met me… IS that an addict? Using it once a month? Should I be worried or just accept it?
