Ir depends where you live. Some states have harsher penalties than others. Also, your punishment would depend upon the quantity you have on you. No matter what the court does to you, though, the worst part is that if you’re an adult, it’ll be on your record, even if it’s just an arrest, forever and ever, the rest of your life, and you may lose out on jobs and things when people check your background.

It all depends on whether this is your first offense, how much you got caught with and what judge you get stuck with because some judges are more lenient than others.
Here in Thailand you could be sentenced to death by lethal injection. Under Thai law, offenders caught with more than 20 grams of heroin/cocaine are treated as traffickers and face up to life imprisonment, while the threshold for the mandatory death penalty is 100 grams. But if a conspiracy to export drugs is established, the total seized is judged to be the amount handled by each offender.
Hi,
how much you got? enough to be charged with intent to sell? other priors? laws in your state?
hard to say, but getting caught with any isn’t a good idea, expect to do time.
if you get caught with cocaine you will go to jail, now depending on the amt. you are caught with will determine how much time you will get. If you have no priors and it was of little amt. then when you go before the judge you might get lucky with only probation. Best advise i could give you is don’t use cocaine and you want have nothing to worry about.
When it comes to getting caught with cocaine the punishment is usually steep.
The person would go to jail and do some time, that is usually a give me when it come to a drug such as cocaine.
If your in trouble due to cocaine, I would suggest calling a good lawyer and speak with them. A lawyer is about the only person who will be able to advise you of your rights and what will and can happen to you.
Also, what the Judge does depends upon a lot of things. A person’s past history as far as if the person has been in trouble in the past. It also can depend upon the sentencing guide lines as well.
Best of luck if it’s you that is having a problem.
