Possession Of Cocaine: Federal Crack Offenders Eligible For Early Release
The U.S. Sentencing Commission voted Thursday to reduce sentences for crack cocaine offenses to a fix longstanding disparity in punishments for crack and powder cocaine crimes. The average sentence reduction is expected to be approximately three years, though a judge will have to approve any lower sentence.
