How Can I Get Full Child Custody in CA?
Question by Luz Clarita: How can I Get Full Child Custody in CA?
I have a 2 year old daughter, her father was deported from the country on Federal Charges for possession of fire arm and drugs. I have several domestic violence police reports against him. The last time he hit me I was 1 1/2 months pregnant. I support my daughter, care for her, make the right decisions for her, and care for her well being. I’ve currently getting parenting classes, and Domestic Violence Counseling. The father has a criminal history, and doesn’t provide any support for his daughter he forgot about her. What type of custody do I need to ask for? I want full custody of her.

You go to local family court and ask for sole custody with no visitation. Ignore do gooders trying to claim your child “needs” her father. In general children should have a father, just not the one you described. They’ll tell you the paperwork to fill out. You will probably need a lawyer specializing in family law.
