im writing a book and in the book one of the girls injects cocaine. from my research i have found that the high is the same as if she snorted it, but lasts not as long. but i have found that she would also have to freebase it before injecting it, what exactly is that and how would she do it??

injecting it gives you a more intense high than snorting it.

All though from the people i have known in the past and now when you inject the chemical in to the blood stream
the intoxication is instant!!!!!!!!!!!!
I won’t contribute to your delinquency by telling you how to freebase. What i wil tell you is that if you do inject it you will die immediately because if you put it into a vein or artery you are putting pure cocaine directly into your heart and brain. it will freeze your heart and cook your brain.
If you don’t believe me, then if you do figure it out and try it; you will not be able to tell me I was right.

You can NOT snort or inject freebase cocaine. Freebasing is basically taking the salt form of cocaine, which is water soluble and suitable for IV use, and getting the base form, which is suitable for smoking (crack). The process is described on Wikipedia:

To go from freebase to salt, just add an acid like vinegar to the freebase cocaine.
Note that the average coke head wouldn’t know how to do any of this without either research or assistance.
