Possession Of Cocaine: The Social MisFit

The Social Misfit is a short film depicting a night on the streets with London prostitute Angel (Sarah Impey). Once a promising psychology student at Bristol University, her parents become aware of a drug problem following a recent arrest while out with fellow students for possession of cocaine. Subsequently her parents, both doctors commit her to an expensive rehab clinic in Hertfordshire. Within a month Angel has absconded to London with her unborn child and finds shelter at a hostel for young mothers. She has cut off all communication with her family and has not seen her parents since running away from rehab. Due to her lifestyle Angel is only allowed to see her son once every 6 weeks on supervised visits. Troubled Angel now battles with her emotions and drug addiction whilst working the streets of central London. Her street wise and intelligent approach has kept her safe so far.
