Possession Of Cocaine: Suspected drug dealers arrested, linked to double homicid

It was a cocaine fueled rage, Hidalgo County sheriff investigators told Action 4 News, that led to Raul Garza killing his wife Veronica Rivera and her 12-year-old sister. “We’ve been able to arrest the people who supplied the cocaine to our murder suspect. I believe this is the first time that we have done that.” While the men will only be charged with possession of cocaine, Hidalgo County sheriff Lupe Trevino said they are morally responsible for the brutal murder of his wife and sister-in-law–because they supplied Garza with the drugs. “We don’t know that we’re going to be able to assign criminal to the five suspects. But they will be held responsible…for the cocaine charges. He added, drug house, like the one the five men were arrested at on Billman Road, are magnets for crime. “We have drive by shootings, rage, pseudo cops, robberies and drug dealings.” Just last year Trevino said they arrested 671 street level dealers. “This year we’re going just as strong. We’re not going to stop.”
