Y&R Thursday September 13, 1990 Danny is still upset over being accused of having possession of cocaine, so Cricket decides to cheer him up by giving him an impromptu wedding at the Colonnade Room. Nina, Katherine, Mitchell, and his nephew Murray trick Danny into signing a marriage license, Scott is happy when he thinks Lauren has returned to him after her time away. Their celebration is cut short when Lauren notices the two empty martini glasses and accuses Scott of once again confiding in Nurse Sheila. Lauren leaves in a huff, and Scott is comforted by Sheila who suggests that Lauren is more at fault, and Scott should just try to move on from her. Lauren shows up at Paul’s office and is annoyed when she finds Paul and Cassandra kissing. Cassandra (who earlier professed her feelings for Paul) lays into Lauren for interrupting their moment and later after she leaves, Lauren tearfully tells Paul that it hurts her to see him `getting drawn to Cassandra again. Rex is jealous when he spies Jill and John talking about business so closely. he goes to Leanna, and is about to tell her his true identity, but she stops him. Jill is upset to learn from John that Traci is back in town. ( I DO NOT own anything, credit goes to the original owners of this dvd and to SONY and CBS)

Is Cricket and Danny engaged yet? Lauren’s hair is so much better here. 🙂 But Cassandra’s hair WOW! Did she touch a light socket? ROFL! So Lauren is jealous of Scott being with someone else,? but yet she kissed Paul! ROFL! And now another woman tells Paul she has feelings for him! I don’t blame the women. Paul is HOT but yet dense. 🙂

I didn’t think I’d ever see the day Mrs. K was replaced. I just figured she’d die with it. Even if it was a temporary stand-in, I don’t see Michael Learned as a great? Kay. Not the way Jeanne Cooper has.
I agree they did not do a very good Job recasting when Brenda left…and i cannot remember one i liked Except for Brenda? taking over as Ashley, Once you get used to a character a replacement is just that a filling in the void, Recently Katherine Chancellor was off the show for a few months i could not stand the actor they slotted in for Misses K……lol
@passnum1 hmm I don’t like B@B. I think he had more charisma as? Brad. It was the character of Brad that made DD a household name.
23 was still pretty damn young to start on? a soap opera. Back then a lot of ppl on soaps weren’t so young. A lot of them would be in their 40’s.
Brenda is totally awesome. I love Eileen Davidson, she’s swell however Brenda Epperson has to be the best recast a soap opera has ever done(and normally recasts don’t go over? so well on soaps.)

Yeah fortunately for me I have only ever been hooked on two soaps Days of Our lives only (when Marlena was possessed by the devil) lost interest after that….. and since around 1992 My favorite show of all time The? Young and The restless still my favorite character is Katherine Chancellor?
And Don (aka Brad) is too busy causing problems on B&B these days. Maybe one day when? Brenda is not too busy they can get her a role on B&B as Bill Spencer’s (Don on B&B) new love interest!, maybe she can be a recast of Kristen Forrester.
Your probably right she just looks so young in the first episodes I had ever seen Eileen in, I agree Brad and Ashley together was like stars colliding, I wish both would return? to Y and R but Brenda is to busy Singing now she has a wonderful voice as well she opened for Lionel Ritchie recently on his European tour
I think Eileen was 23 when she started the show actually, she was born on June 15 1959, and debuted? as Ashley in June 1982. but yes Brenda is beautiful, and shes even better with Don Diamont (Brad)
I also like Eileen Davidson as Ashley Abbot and? she is an Original from way back when I think she was like 16 when she first started Y&R Brenda is in a League of her own though a true goddess not just her looks but the facial expressions her attitude her love of fun and life I really like it when she gives someone on the show an evil glare it pierces right through me
