I Know he re-uses alot of lyrics but his glow, punchlines and wordplay are good so i don’t get why people hate him?
Don’t say he isn’t good… explain to me why or else that just means your just a follower
@The God, Jus Allah… I see people like you who like to act as if they were sophisticated and preach all that black power nonsense, and listen to that “powerful” and “meaningful” music but the fact is that Lil Wayne has more fans because he is good. Just because his lyrics are easy to understand, doesn’t make him terrible and his rapping about nonsense is much better than rapping about poverty but doing shit about it. i mean come on be real i see Lil Wayne donating money and establishing charities and you hate on him for making money and actually make a change with his money. I’m sure we all heard the flossing music before with Biggie and Puff the only thing different is the style and what Lil Wayne had to bring to the plate in the category of Rap music
and @The Helpful Guy… I’m not talking about comparing. i’m saying people should stop trying to compare people and say they’re wack and garbage. They are to different things, stop comparing them. I already understand that the older music were better, that doesn’t necessarily make newer music garbage

he is not as good as some of the other rappers out there, yet he get’s paid more for his crap.

His wordplay is terrible, only appealing to fourteen year olds, and idiots who have no thought process beyond the word ‘swag’. He raps about nonsense, his story telling is terrible, his flow is garbage, he auto-tunes his voice until he sounds like a robot going through puberty, his ryme schemes, as well as his rhymes themselves are uncreative and he’s just stupid.
Because real rap fans like the real rap!
Compare Nas with Young Money and u’ll see what i mean!

Most of his songs haven’t been really that meaningful. I was surprised and happy that he made “How To Love” and “Mirror”. They were pretty good for me even though I’m not a fan of Wayne. A lot of people don’t like him because of lyrical content being about sex, drugs, money. It’s getting a bit repetitive. You got to agree on that. :p Alright, this might get biased from here on out, but he got 1 year for possession when people get more…he uses auto tune a bit much for me. His fan base is a bit out of hand. ( Then again whose ain’t.) He might have some great lines, but there’s lot of unknown people that can spit out great lines most of the times. Basically, All I’m saying is that you either hate or love him because of his really big popularity or being so overrated . Popularity doesn’t always mean your songs are always amazing. People hate him because of most of his rap songs being about sex,drugs, or money and since he’s very popular. His fan base thinks that the “definition” of rap nowadays.
