What Are Some Possibilities of Getting Charged With Possesion of Marijuana?

Question by The Wise One: What are some possibilities of getting charged with possesion of marijuana?
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS BEFORE ANSWERING:
So I was sitting on the sidewalk and the cops showed up because they got a call that some kids might have been smoking marijuana on the sidewalk.
There was 5 of us.
They let 3 of them go, except me and my friend “X”
X had about $ 10-25 worth of weed in a $ 5 dollar bill,
As they told us to empty our pockets and belongings so they could search us he put the weed in a five dollar bill. but had about 10-20 $ 5 dollar bills in his pocket.

The police charged us both with possesion, but DIDN’T ARREST US.
They said court would decide who is guilty.
I NEVER touched his money nor the weed. I didn’t buy weed. All I had was a lighter and my cellphone.

What Does the Charge ” Drug Manufacturer Sales and Deliver of C2 Narcotics” Categorize? How Long Could U Get?

Question by Linda: what does the charge ” drug manufacturer sales and deliver of c2 narcotics” categorize? how long could u get?
if this is first time offence

Best answer:

Answer by WATCH DOG
Sentencing laws are state sensitive but sales and delivery of schedule 2 narcotics in some states will get you 3 to 5 years even if it is a first offense, and if it is in Federal court it could get you up to 15 years and in federal custody you would serve 85% of your time. If you have an attorney and you know the prosecutor can convict you then try to plead dow.n to simple possession and probation.
