I recently got charged with possession of marijuana small amount personal use, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and duties at stop sign. What do you think will be my consequences? I’m 19 years old and from Pennsylvania. This is my first offense. Just looking for some answers?
P.S. Don’t lecture me on how marijuana is bad, I already know what I’ve done is wrong

Its not bad .. tabacco should be illegal & marijuana should be legal! But your prob looking at some community service .. maybe 6months probation

I am orginally from PA and let me tell you – you are majorly screwed.
Your case will most likely be heard by a “District Magistrate”. The fact that this is your first offense for a common drug is ok. But they will still rake you over the coals.
You will have to pay for “court costs”. Then they will most likely assign you with “community service”. Believe it or not, you actually have to PAY to do the community service. The idea here is that someone would need to supervise your service, so the system needs to be paid for. So that’s more money out of your wallet.
There is also a possibility for maybe 30 days of “house arrest”, where they will make you wear a device on your ankle that monitors your movement. Finally, you will probably get probation and assigned a probation officer. This too may cost you some more money, to meet with your PO on a monthly basis.
Basically, you’re looking at at least $ 500 in fees, some work and lots of inconvenience, before you are done. Oh yeah…and the cops will be on the look-out for you in the future too. Once you’ve got a conviction, they will keep a close eye on you.
