Drug Possession: Rand Paul: Country Is Ready For A “Libertarian Republican Narrative” – Fox News Sunday 2/17/2013

“I would absolutely not run unless it were to win. You know, points have been made and we’ll continue to make points, but I think the country really is ready for the narrative coming, libertarian Republican narrative, also because we have been losing as a national party. We are doing fine in congressional seats but we’re becoming less and less of a national party because we don’t win on the West Coast, we don’t win in New England. We really struggled all around the Great Lakes. I think people want a party that’s a little bit less aggressive on foreign policy, still believes in a strong national defense but less aggressive. They want — the young people want politicians who don’t want to put them in jail for 20 years for a nonviolent drug possession charge. So, they want a little bit different face. I think people want a little different face on immigration frankly. They don’t want somebody who wants to round people up, put them in camps and send them back to Mexico.”

Your right. And so much is coming to a head in these times that every decision that US are allowed to make and/or vote on is not only important but imparitive that we make the right decision. How? You ask. well..sigh. Some are coming around (but only now because Obama is failing and WE are finally? starting to make sense to them. And now we might actually have a worthy canidate to run. whew! (I hope so…cuz things were just looking baaad). Others you’ll never wake up.

  • osgeek:

Something retroactive would be nice. It’s pathetic that we have to put up with our little tin horn dictator Obama for another? 4 years.

  • osgeek:

Ventura talks a? decent game for the most part but is a bit too gullible a Truther for my tastes. It’s one thing to believe in the possibility of a false flag operation from your government. It’s another thing to push it as truth without any real proof.

  • FinickyGreek:

Why don’t these? long winded cowards start impeachment proceedings against Obama?

  • ratrodz49:

I’m cool with that too…. As long next candidate is libertarian… Amash doesn’t have the exposure yet though… Give him some? time though… People are slowly catching on to our tyrants socialist, totalitarian agenda…

  • MrWarriorxp:

No Rand Paul isn’t perfect, but why don’t you get out your history books, No President was!! Even Jefferson comprised all the time in the white house and kept the? national bank, and he was the father of libertarian thought! Rand Paul is the best chance we’ve got.

  • MrWarriorxp:

Rand Paul is the best chance we have at getting a good president in the white house!! Come on, wake up you libertarian purists!! Libertarians eat their own if? they don’t agree%100

  • zentricky69:

CHRIS WALLACE IS A STUFFED PIECE OF SHIT. MIGHT AS WELL BE A GOVERNMENT? OPERATIVE. “TO MAKE A POINT” AS IN RON PAUL’S RUN FOR THE WHITE HOUSE? AS IF RON PAUL DID NOT INTEND TO WIN? FUCK YOU CHRIS! GO RON PAUL! I? HOPE RON PAUL RUNS IN 2016 JUST TO PISS OFF THE DUMB FUCK TRAITOR PRESS! I HOPE RAND WAITS UNTIL AFTER RON PAUL WINS TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT OR MAYBE THEY COULD BE PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT? THAT WOULD BE A GOOD START!

  • Thiago Leobons:

    I give you that?

  • sleedolfine15:

If you want to be president then you have to take hard questions(unless you’re Obama) and Wallace’s questions weren’t that hard. ?

  • Viperscale1:

Look? everyone, I hear you all talking about how his chances against Hillary Clinton. Her approval ratings are really high NOW. Right after the election it is a known fact that the winning parties approval ratings rise. Just wait till 2015… we all agree that Obama’s policies will fail, so what makes you think Hillary Clinton will still have high approval ratings after Obama’s policies failed? I think Rand Paul has a real chance in 2016!!

  • Andrew DiMartino:

Jesse Ventura will never get elected because of his? conspiracy theories and his closet libertarianism.

  • Thiago Leobons:

I remember Chris Wallace asking Ron Paul at the debate if “America? should take their marching orders from the Taliban”. Rand even laughed him off in the first 2 questions, his tone is like he is grilling them for being softies, not kneeling before the military industrial complex.

  • sleedolfine15:

Chris Wallace’s questions were perfectly? fair.

  • NoOneButRonPaul:

    Outclassed.? Rand 1 – Fox News 0

  • pathwarden219:

jess? ventura is a creep not conservative at all

  • Anon Emus:

That is definitely what put it in my? mind, he’s pretty good, and would hopefully whip Rand into shape, Constitutionally I mean
